Down fall the leaves
An Autumn Shower
Full of colors
Reds, Oranges, Browns, & Yellows
The wind blows and they take flight
Ohh what a sight
The air itself a dance floor
A simple but elegant beauty
A blessing to sight
Creating an atmosphere where all is right
Calm days and restful eves
All because the Autumn leaves

I lay down exhausted

Wanting only to sleep

Days go by and I sleep

Weeks and I slumber

People are afraid to sleep

Feeling like they are missing out

Feeling like they are missing the point of it all

I do not fear sleep

I do not need to struggle daily

To make myself feel worthy of sleep

I sleep when I want

Sometimes during the day

Always at night

I ask why you fear sleep

Why must you work constantly?

Trying to gain what is not necessary

By not sleeping I feel you miss the point of life

Because I am a dreamer and dreams are what make life grand

Ending in a kiss and a happily ever after

People like to believe this a work of fiction

But the emotion gained from reading is real

The craving for something as beautiful is real

And love stories do exist as a work of nonfiction

It exists and is often sought after

But searching makes you blind to it

You must first be complete in character

So that you may find a piece of the puzzle the fits your own

You must love yourself if you are to love another

You must smile, cry and show all emotion

Nothing is perfect without constant work

So work for love

And then love will work for you

Then your story will one day be a fairytale

Consisting of priceless moments, fulfilled life, and a struggle worth overcoming

Life has changed us all like the tempering of a sword

This makes us strong

But unfortunately creates sharp edges that cut down our dreams

We are distant from emotion

Afraid to let the world see us as we truly are

Because we believe it will dash or hopes and destroy us

But every time we hide our true colors we destroy ourselves

If we are going to live

We should live honest

First to ourselves

Then to the world which is lucky to have seen a glimpse of our hearts and minds

We are all different and special

We have talents, thoughts, and dreams that make us one of a kind

If you doubt this then know now that I care for you

Despair takes hold and steals the warmth

There is always a decision to make

And mine is to hold tighter

I am the knight, the warrior, the fighter

Its helps me overcome the fear

With it I can warm again humanity

And keep from breaking my sanity
