I fell forward and clouds passed me as I rushed towards the earth.
I can see the mountains with snow covered tops and evergreen trees
I feel the cool air pass between my fingers slowing my descent slightly
I see rivers flowing into gulfs brimming with life
I see an eagle following my descent with his keen sight
Clouds cover me with the worlds tears both sad and life giving
The ground so far away no longer seems as distant
Homes sprout from the ground giving shelter to loving families
Fires of compassion heat both the body and soul
I open my arms wide to embrace the world in its entirety
The world is so much too so many and so little to so few
And we are blind to its life giving nature
As a babe is blind to reasons of existence
I am but one leaf on the tree of life
Waiting for my slow decent to a beautiful world
Hoping only to make something as grand as life a little bit better
