Sacrifice

Sacrifice alone is pointless unless it benefits

I could rush an army to be quickly destroyed

Or I could start a rebellion that changes a nation

I could save my income for possessions unneeded

Or I could help feed the weary and down trout

I could spend a minute giving to charity

Or I could help a lost soul once again find his path

I could cry for my losses and short comings

Or I could help someone else not make the same mistakes

I could talk about how the world is a wonderful place

Or I could be a martyr to the belief that this world and mankind as a whole is worth dying for

Why do something if it won’t make the world a better place

Why despair about what is wrong instead of being grateful for what is right

Why sacrifice so little for so few when you can do so much for so many
