Second chances are for the loved. From the lovers Sent with care to the rough. In Hopes to smooth away their sharp edges. Without sharp edges one can hold again without pain. With holding comes love and happiness. Comfort eternal within ones arms. A second chance can either change nothing, or make all the difference. Its wiping a single tear from ones cheek when they say their sorry. Taking their hand in yours when they grasp for it. Or returning their sad looks with a loving smile. You may mean all the difference to them. But without a second chance that emptiness where they were in your heart will never completely fill. You will never know if they loved you as much as you them, or if they to wanted nothing more then to fall asleep within your arms. Don’t rush your second chance but please give it. Because with love you just never know
